Warne Marketing is delighted to welcome aboard Matthew Fletcher and Rachel Aylmer...
Warne Marketing was established in recognition of a growing trend for clients to seek high-quality, seamless and strategic marketing advice and support.
In 2007 the team was thrilled to win the Federal Government and Commonwealth Bank’s Small Business Champion Award (Business Services category, Victoria).
Warne Marketing is a member of many organisations, including Business and Professional Women (of which Warne Marketing is foundation sponsor of the Annual Young BPW Breakfasts, now in their fourth year), Waste Wise Geelong Network, Junior Chamber International, The Geelong Club, and Geelong Chamber of Commerce, the latter of which Warne Marketing is a Corporate Partner.
Warne Marketing is owned and operated by Kylie Warne. Prior to establishing Warne Marketing Kylie spent 15 years honing her skills with multinational corporations, public organisations and SMEs. She has been instrumental in developing and delivering assorted marketing and communication initiatives with an extensive list of public and private organisations including three State Government departments, five Local Councils, the State Library of Victoria, Geelong Football Club, Bendigo Bank, CSIRO, Geelong Otway Tourism, Shell Geelong Refinery, Smith Family, University of Melbourne, Village Cinemas, ICI, Orica, Bayer, Group 4 Securitas and The $2 Shop.
Kylie is a Certified Practicing Marketer and Associate Member of the Australian Marketing Institute. She holds a Master of Business (Marketing) degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2005, Kylie received Business and Professional Women Geelong's Enterprise Award, and in 2006 received BNI's Notable Networker award. Her marketing articles have featured in various publications, and she has recently been featured in Melbourne’s MX newspaper and other publications promoting RMIT University's post-graduate business degree, of which she is an alumni.
A Board member of Barwon Health's Major Appeal Committee, a Board member of the Geelong Volunteer Resource Centre and a member of the Geelong Chamber of Commerce’s Marketing and Membership Committee, Kylie is also an active member of many other organisations.
Kylie's core competencies are strategic marketing planning, integrated communications campaign development, customer relationship management (CRM) and ensuring marketing is connected to sound financial metrics and other tangible KPI's.
Matthew Fletcher has over 15 years experience across a wide variety of industries, including commercial, not-for-profit and government organisations. Matthew is also an Associate member of the Australian Marketing Institute.
Matthew has a proven track record in developing innovative solutions to complex problems, working with a diverse clientele and leading high-achieving teams. His core competencies include Strategic Brand Management, Internal and External Communications campaign development, Event Management and Production and Innovative Communication Solutions to enable clients to be able to communicate with their audience effectively.
Creative Director Emma Pitman holds a Bachelor of Graphic Design/Multimedia degree from the University of Ballarat. Emma has had a passion for all things creative, and since university she has worked for various Design Studios and Printers in Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat. Providing solid design services for large corporations, councils, government departments and small business, Emma’s varied portfolio displays her ability in strong conceptual thought and well executed, consistent design using the latest technologies.
Clients for which Emma has designed include Australian Practitioners Magazine, GMHBA, APCO Service Stations, Epoch Energy Solutions and Associated Rigging.
Emma says her career highlights include being the recipient of the Business and Professional Women Leadership and Mentoring Scholarship, and providing services pro-bono for Grampians Regional Mental Health Week.
Warne Marketing's senior consultant, Bonnie Kohnert, has over 6 years marketing and public relations experience. Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations) degree, majoring in marketing, from the University of Canberra. A stint during university launching Microsoft’s X-BOX gaming console to the university student market sparked Bonnie’s interest in product launches.
Bonnie has worked with some of Australia’s most recognised PR and marketing companies, including Professional Public Relations (PPR) and George Patterson Y&R. In addition, Bonnie's experience working with government departments in Canberra, as well as SMEs, has given her a solid foundation in a broad cross-section of marketing and public relations techniques.
Bonnie’s core competencies include strategic planning for businesses, media management and communication campaigns. Bonnie also works at the Geelong Chamber of Commerce in a business and membership development capacity and is thrilled with the opportunity to assist more businesses through Warne Marketing.
Warne Marketing's Senior Copywriter, Sophie Bone, completed her Arts degree at the University of Melbourne, with a double major in Politics and English. After completing a Post Graduate Diploma of Education, she became a secondary English teacher. Recognised for her leadership qualities, Sophie worked closely with one of Australia's best know female entrepreneurs, Fabian Dattner, who facilitates and supports a range of high profile Australian organisations in leadership development and strategic transformation. Sophie became the Head of English in her second year of teaching at one of the top scoring private schools in Victoria.
Sophie initiated a career change and established Red Frog Copywriting after seeing a distinct opportunity to work with businesses to provide professional copywriting ensuring clarity, impact and the delivery of an accurate message to their target audiences. Sophie empowers Warne Marketing's clients by providing the right words to use, in the right context, for the right audience and for maximum impact.
Currently in her final semester studying Bachelor of Business (Marketing and Event Management) at Victoria University, Rachel Aylmer has joined the Warne Marketing team as Marketing Assistant.
Previously, Rachel has enjoyed working at Spray Farm, where she assisted with diverse events, including 'A Day on the Green', as well as weddings and other functions. Rachel has also worked with Uniradiology, focusing on relationship marketing.
Rachel is dedicated, passionate and says she is extremely excited to have become a member of the Warne Marketing team.
